The Derwent pastel pencils is partly water-soluble, allowing you to enjoy adding a number of different effects to your artwork using just these pastel pencils. The pencils themselves are made from Californian Cedarwood and stained with a Rosewood finish. The 8mm barrel is perfectly ergonomic for comfort and ease of use, whilst the 4mm core lends itself to both colouring broad areas as well as etching out fine details.
