What’s the difference between leather dye and leather paint?
Leather dye is absorbed in to the leather fibres creating a more natural look that is permanent whereas leather paint sticks to the outside of the leather and requires further steps to make it hard wearing. Leather paint can also offer bolder, more striking colours.

Leather Paint is water resistant and requires sealant to protect it.Sealers like Mod podge are a good option.
