That’s up to personal preference! They are both able to produce professional-level results. You may find that Derwent pigments tend to be deeper than Faber Castell, so that could be a factor in your consideration.
The biggest difference between the ProColour, Coloursoft, and Lightfast pencils is how they feel on paper. While all have great pigment and blendability, the ProColour is known to be a happy medium between the soft core of the Coloursoft, and the slightly sharper oil-based lead of the Lightfast pencils. The Lightfast range also has the highest grade for being lightfast (resistant to fading when exposed to light).
