These highly pigmented, Cretacolor Aqua Monolith Woodless Watercolour Pencils have the added advantage of being water-soluble. They impart rich colours and soft strokes in 72 brilliant shades. Each pencil consists of 7mm in diameter of pure coloured lead without any wooden casing. The Aqua Monolith pencils are easily sharpened and can be used dry or wet by submerging the pencils into water and drawing directly onto paper or brushing over the dry strokes with water.
