ChiaoGoo Forté Lace 5" (13cm) Interchangeable Circular Knitting Needle Tips

I own a set of metal lace ChiaoGoo needles for about 7 years now but needed a size US 2 which is not in the set. The only one that I could find to go with my cables was the Forte. I really like it; the metal tip is sharp, making it easy to pick up stitches for lace or fine yarn. The wood feels warm in the hands. I reckon that the wood would also be great for silky yarn, making it less slippery.

I love ChiaoGoo needles and these are beautiful, eventually i will have a full set, I just love using them.

Bought these to try as the stainless steel set was feeling too slippery for colourwork. They were perfect. The stainless steel points meant the picking up of stitches worked just like the full stainless steel needles, but the carbon fibre body slowed down the stitches just enough to make it not feel like they were going to fall off any second. It helped a lot with the tension in my hands and meant I fatigued less easily.

I am a big fan of chiagoo needles, had both options - metal and bamboo and bought forte for curiosity, it is so much noise about them. I tried new one immediately and haven't been disappointed. They lovely.

I was keen to try the Forte needles given all the hype about them and how expensive the new sets are. I wasn't disappointed, they have more grip obviously than the stainless steel needles but not as much as bamboo. Overall enjoyable but don't need a whole set of them.
