Ashford Specialist Protein Fibre Fabric Dyes are easy to use, safe and comply with Oeko-Tex Standard 100. For use with all protein fibres – wool, silk, alpaca, feather, fur, cashmere, angora etc.

The Ashford Introduction to Fabric Dyeing Kit contains:
- 1 x Ashford Protein Fibre Dye - Hot Pink (10gm)
- 1 x Ashford Protein Fibre Dye - Yellow (10gm)
- 1 x Ashford Protein Fibre Dye - Black (10gm)
- 1 x Ashford Protein Fibre Dye - Blue (10gm)
- 2 x 100gm Skeins of undyed Yarn - 75% Wool 25% Nylon, 4 ply fingering weight, 100gm net at standard condition / 400m (437yds), Machine washable, Tension 10cm (4”) square =26–28 sts x 36 rows 2.75 – 3.25mm (2 – 3 US)

When made up, the dyes will be enough to dye 4kg of yarn or fibre.
Ashford dyes have no fillers or salts, they are 100% concentrate so very economic - 10gm of dye powder made to a 1% concentrate will dye 1kg of fibre. Use white vinegar or citric acid to fix the dyes.
